About the Project
In a world filled with constant notifications, conversations and distractions, moments of genuine stillness have become increasingly rare.
Incepted by Sagar Belsare, Handpan Echoes creates moments through immersive instrumental performances centred around the handpan, one of the world’s most expressive melodic percussion instruments. The project is brought to life alongside Sanket Nashikkar, a versatile guitarist fluent across blues, rock, pop and ambient music, active in the Pune-Mumbai circuit for over 15 years. Santosh Naik, an accomplished flautist with a strong foundation in Hindustani classical music, is another member, bringing together modern textures and timeless melodies.

Is the performance available as Solo, Duo or Trio?
Yes. Handpan Echoes can be presented as a Solo performance, Handpan + Guitar, Handpan + Flute, or a Trio featuring all three musicians.
How long is a typical performance?
Most performances range between 30 and 90 minutes, depending on the event schedule and format. Custom durations can also be arranged.
Do you travel outside Pune?
Yes. Performances are available across Pune, Mumbai and other cities, depending on the event requirements.
Can the performance be customised?
Absolutely. The musical flow, duration and instrumentation can be adapted to suit your audience, venue and event objectives.
What are the technical requirements?
A professional PA system (outsourced from a sound-vendor) is necessary for most venues since the handpan is a niche instrument with. A detailed technical rider can be shared after booking confirmation.
