The Rhythm Story began with a simple belief.
Music education should never feel intimidating.
Learning an instrument isn’t about memorising songs or clearing examinations. It’s about developing confidence, understanding rhythm, expressing yourself and enjoying every step of the journey.
Over the past decade, we’ve had the privilege of teaching students from many parts of Pune, from young children discovering music for the first time to adults returning to a dream they had postponed for years.
Many students came to us believing they had “no rhythm.”
They soon realised rhythm isn’t something you’re born with.
It’s something you learn to feel.
That philosophy continues to shape every lesson we teach today.
Why We Opened a Second Branch
As our student community grew, so did the distance many families travelled every week.
Parents regularly drove across the city to attend lessons. Working professionals rushed through evening traffic after office hours. Weekend schedules became increasingly difficult.
Rather than asking students to travel farther, we decided to bring The Rhythm Story closer to them.
Our new teaching space at Spot 18 Mall allows students living on Pune’s western side to enjoy the same structured learning experience in a much more convenient location.

Do I need my own drum kit?
No. You can begin learning using the academy’s instruments. We’ll guide you on buying a drum kit only when you’re ready.
Is prior musical experience required?
Not at all. Most of our students join as complete beginners.
Can adults join?
Absolutely. Many of our students are working professionals learning drums as a hobby or fulfilling a lifelong dream.
Are trial classes available?
Yes. We encourage every new student to attend a trial class before enrolling.
What are the fees?
Different modules and courses are available of different durations, starting at Rs. 4,500.
What should I bring?
You’ll have to buy a pair of drumsticks and a practice pad. Once you enrol, we’ll guide you what to buy and where.
Is parking available?
Spot 18 Mall offers paid parking for visitors; free roadside parking can be done subject to availability.
