There are moments in the day that don’t ask for attention.
They don’t arrive loudly.
They don’t try to impress.
They simply exist quietly, almost unnoticed like the space between two ripples in water.
Between Ripples was born in that space.
Most of us experience music as something that fills silence.
But sometimes, the most honest music comes from listening to silence itself.
This piece didn’t begin with an idea of composition.
It began with a feeling a pause, a breath, a moment of stillness that didn’t need to be rushed.
Sitting with the handpan, there was no intention to “create something impressive.”
Instead, it became about allowing the notes to appear… and more importantly, allowing them to fade.
Because what stays with you is not always the note;
it’s what happens just after it.

The handpan has a way of doing that.
Its sound doesn’t attack. It doesn’t demand.
It blooms, lingers, and dissolves much like ripples on water.
And somewhere in that natural decay, you start noticing things you usually miss:
- the subtle movement of time
- the weight of a pause
- the comfort of not needing to rush forward
That’s where Between Ripples lives.
This is not a track designed to overwhelm you.
It’s not built on complexity or speed.
There are no dramatic turns or loud statements.
Instead, it invites you to slow down;
even if just for a few minutes.
To sit.
To breathe.
To listen… not just to the music, but to everything around it.
As an artist, this piece also marks a shift.
For years, music has been performance-driven energy, precision, delivery.
But this time, the focus moved inward.
Less about playing more.
More about feeling deeper.
Less about filling space.
More about respecting it.
Between Ripples is the first in a series of original compositions exploring different shades of a single idea:
What does a day feel like when you truly pay attention to it?
Not rush through it.
Not optimize it.
Just… experience it.
🗓️ Releasing on 2 April 2026
